Individual Counseling

Sometimes we need a place to slow down, sort through what we're carrying, and figure out the next right step.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, and life's transitions.

Whether you're working through something painful or simply feeling stuck, counseling can help you understand what's happening and begin moving forward.

My approach is trauma-informed and includes EMDR therapy. Together, we can explore how past experiences may still be affecting the way you feel, think, and connect with others — and begin creating new ways of moving forward.

Couples Counseling

Relationships can get stuck in patterns that leave both people feeling unheard, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward.

Together, we can begin understanding what happens underneath the conflict and work toward greater connection and emotional safety.

Whether you're navigating communication challenges, rebuilding trust, or simply wanting to feel closer again, counseling offers a place to slow down and better understand each other.

My approach draws from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method, helping couples recognize patterns of disconnection, understand the emotions underneath conflict, and begin creating healthier ways of relating to one another.

Areas we can work on together:

  • Communication and conflict

  • Emotional connection

  • Trust and relationship repair

  • Premarital counseling

  • Navigating life transitions together

Community, Groups & Workshops

Healing doesn't always happen alone.

Red Letters was created with the hope of bringing people together through small groups, workshops, retreats, and conversations around mental health, relationships, and life's transitions.

A place to connect, grow, and find the courage to take the next step.

Why Private Pay?

Red Letters Counseling & Community is a private-pay practice, which means I do not bill insurance directly.

Choosing private pay allows us to focus on your needs and goals without having to structure our work around an insurance company's requirements. Together, we can make decisions about the direction, pace, and length of counseling based on what is most helpful for you.

Private pay also offers greater control over your privacy. Insurance companies generally require a mental health diagnosis and certain treatment information when processing claims. When you choose not to use insurance, that information does not need to be submitted to an insurer for payment.

My goal is to create a counseling experience that feels personal, collaborative, and centered on you.

Using Out-of-Network Benefits

If you have out-of-network mental health benefits, I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

Depending on your plan, you may need to meet your deductible before insurance begins reimbursing you for counseling. I encourage you to check your out-of-network mental health benefits so you understand your potential out-of-pocket costs before getting started.

Coverage and reimbursement vary by plan, and submitting a superbill generally requires a diagnosis.

Sliding Scale Availability

I understand that counseling is a financial investment. A limited number of reduced-fee appointments may be available based on financial need and current availability. Please feel free to ask when reaching out.
