My dad always told me...

Ever since I can remember, I have loved connecting with people, hearing their stories, and understanding what matters most to them.

My dad always told me, “People love to tell you about themselves.” I have found that to be true. And as I have gotten older, I have come to appreciate those stories even more.

Our stories shape how we see ourselves, how we connect with others, and how we move through the world. They hold our joys, our losses, our relationships, our fears, our hopes, and sometimes the places where we feel stuck.

I believe we are created for connection. We all want to feel known, loved, and like we belong.

My passion is to walk alongside people as they begin to better understand their story, heal from what has hurt, and find the courage to move toward what matters most to them.

Sometimes that means learning to have more compassion for ourselves. Sometimes it means healing old wounds, changing patterns, strengthening relationships, or making a difficult life transition.

And sometimes it simply means figuring out the next right step.

That is the heart behind Red Letters Counseling & Community — creating a space for healing, growth, connection, and the courage to move forward.

“In the absence of love and belonging there will always be suffering.”
— Brené Brown
