Why Red Letters?
The name Red Letters Counseling & Community came from a song that deeply moved me during a season of change.
For me, “Red Letters” represents words of hope, freedom, healing, and love — the kind of words that can speak into the places where we feel stuck, afraid, or unsure of who we are becoming.
When my boys were young, they created their own dinnertime prayer:
“Thank you God for the Jesus.”
At the time, I thought it was sweet and simple. But as they grew older, I found myself holding onto those words more and more. They reminded me of what matters most: faith, love, grace, and the hope that we are never beyond healing.
That is the heart behind Red Letters.
This practice is part of a dream I have carried for more than 20 years — to create a space where people can feel seen, supported, and encouraged as they move toward healing and meaningful change.
Red Letters Counseling & Community is about walking alongside others with honesty, compassion, and hope as they take the next right step toward the life they were created to live.
